My name is Alex and I’m a person qualified in many design-based areas like graphic design, motion design, web/print design, IU/UX, photography/videography for more than 20 years. For these years, I collected enormous amount of really strong and steady experience in different fields of Design.
I started my work experience in one of the biggest Print Houses in Bulgaria as a Desktop prepress specialist and Art Director/Senior graphic designer. There, I was managing the whole process – from birth of the idea, until implementing it in all marketing materials – such as collateral pieces (posters, flyers, brochures), website, event campaign, corporate video production etc. While working on huge amount of international projects for customers like Festo, Citroen, Louis Vuitton, M&M Militzer & Much and many more, I learned deeply not only all different print techniques (such as Offset printing, Digital printing, Digital offset printing, all additional polygrahy actions as hot stamping, embossing etc.), but important things like corporate trends, best practices, brand identity tips etc.
Then I was hired by Software AG, one of the biggest and most known software companies in the world (second in Europe), I gradually walked the path from a regular graphic designer of a Head of Creative Services. As such, I’m leading a team of 6 graphic designers, being responsible for the overall look-and-feel of the Brand of the company, leading campaigns, corporate events, initiatives and many other internal and external activities.

Please find below professional areas where I have experience in. Throughout the past years, I gained strong and deep knowledge in many marketing areas by combining different types if design and implementing them successfully in order to provide a better advertising outcome.
WEB / UI / UX
Understanding IU/UX concepts for web-based projects like websites, social media memes, campaign banners etc. Working with content in Adobe AEM/DAM, WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Providing support in many other CMS systems.
PRINT / PREPRESS / PUBLISHING
I’ve been working on many marketing materials meant to be printed out on paper, cardboard and many other media types. Deep understanding of Desktop publishing, color separation, digital and offset printing, embossing, hot stamping, folding and all other paper-based brochures and leaflets. Experience in CMYK, RGB and other color spaces. Preparing files for print and all additional effect treatments.
PHOTO / VIDEO / EDITING / RETOUCHING
Professional experience in photo and video shooting. Aware of many shooting technologies – DSLR, mirrorless, camcorder, audio, compositing, editing etc. Being a professionally hired as a photographer and videographer. Owning a rich set of photography/videography gear and able to shoot events, campaigns etc.
BRANDING / MARKETING
Actively led and participated in a couple of rebranding campaigns. Successfully create and present in front of the Board a new concept for the Brand – logotypes, tone of voice, messaging, color philosophy, design concepts, event branding and treatment etc.
